The Empress is NOT invisible.
YOU are not invisible.

1. The Empress is NOT invisible.
​If you can’t see her, she will repay in kind.
If it's shade you want, you will get plenty.

Let's talk about this shall we? This was the first decree I came up with on my evolving list of seventeen. I think it's one of the most important. Why? Because treating you like you are invisible is a favorite tactic of narcissists, abusers and predators. Not only do they gather power from making others feel insignificant, they use this trick to fool you into thinking your only  visibility and worth will come from being with them. They love to throw you off balance with a compliment and then start to chip away with small degrading slights. They ignore you. The abuse escalates.

The person who gets off on making others feel invisible is deathly afraid of not being seen. Remember that when a boss, coworker, supposed friend, family member, would be or current romantic partner uses this tactic on you.  You have extraordinary value. You are an exquisite gem of a human being, You sparkle, you shine. You are smart, loyal, loving, warm and funny. You are awesomesauce with a side of extra awesome. 

You are allowed to switch that script and leave that asshole in the shade where they belong.
